!Solid Size Guide: how to choose your size
Check the fit of the individual style and compare its measurements with a similar garment that fits you well. This ECRU guide covers men's T-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and trousers.
Indicative !Solid sizing for tops
We have not verified a general official !Solid measurement chart. This estimated reference comes from the general tops guide of multibrand retailer 2trendy; it is not an official !Solid chart and cannot guarantee the fit of a particular style. The same letter size can have different dimensions depending on the model and cut.
Chest values are body circumferences in centimetres, not flat garment widths. Measure around the fullest part of the chest with the tape horizontal under your arms, without pulling tight. This table does not apply to trousers.

How to measure T-shirts, shirts and sweatshirts
Lay a similar garment flat without stretching it, with buttons or zip fastened. Record the following measurements in centimetres:
Chest width: measure straight from armpit to armpit.
Length: from the high shoulder point beside the neck to the hem.
Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the cuff. Dropped shoulders and raglan sleeves use different reference points, so compare similar cuts.
A garment's flat chest width is not your body circumference. For example, 50 cm of flat width corresponds to approximately 100 cm around the garment, before allowing for stretch or ease.
!Solid trousers and jeans
Check whether the style uses letter sizes or waist/leg sizing. In W/L sizing, W is the waist and L is the inside leg, usually in inches. One inch equals 2.54 cm; this conversion does not replace the measurements of the actual trousers. There is no universal conversion from S, M or L to a W size.
Waistband: fasten the trousers, lay them flat and measure from side to side. For elasticated waistbands, state whether measured unstretched.
Inside leg: measure along the inner seam from the crotch to the hem. Hips: compare the width at the fullest point with trousers of a similar cut.
Understanding the fit
Slim fit is more fitted, regular fit is standard and relaxed fit is looser. These are general cut descriptions, not size conversions. Always check the fit stated for the individual product.
Frequently asked questions about !Solid sizes
Does !Solid run large or small?
We cannot apply one sizing rule to the whole collection. Fit depends on the style, fabric and the amount of ease you prefer. Compare with a garment you own and check the product details.
What if I am between sizes?
Compare both sizes where measurements are available. For a jacket or overshirt, allow for the layers underneath. Contact us before ordering if you need help.
Does !Solid clothing shrink?
This depends on each garment's composition and finish. Follow its care label; we do not apply a single shrinkage percentage to the entire brand.
Can I ask about a particular model?
Email us with the model, colour, sizes you are considering and your chest circumference. We will help check the available information and, where possible, the garment's measurements.
