The music that Gen Hoshino creates, the music he likes.
Gen Hoshino is a musician who has seriously explored various musical genres, including jazz, soul, funk, R&B, and pop, embracing them and continuing to create his own sound. After releasing his latest album, Gen, which he describes as a reflection of himself, and celebrating the 15th anniversary of his solo debut this year, what sounds surround him and what landscapes does he see now? Using a timeline that spans the past, present, and future, we explore the sounds that have shaped him, those that appeal to him, and those that might connect with him in the future. What is the origin of this "liking" that moves the heart of Hoshino Gen and the music he creates?
