The BAGGU story begins in 2007 because they wanted a reusable bag that was functional, affordable, and attractive. They couldn't find one, so they decided to do it. The result was the standard Baggu: based on the construction of a plastic grocery bag, made of lightweight ripstop nylon, and built to hold 2-3 times more than a disposable grocery bag.
