The illustrations tell their own story: that of the Moomin characters and their adventures, and of Tove Jansson's extraordinary talent and career as an illustrator. We gave the book the title Mischievous Nature. It refers to the characters' rather irreverent behavior and the natural world.
This year, the book is a softcover edition with a green linen-textured cardboard cover inside a fabric-covered hardboard slipcase. Inside are 288 pages of illustrations and book cover images. Some are printed so large they extend across the entire page and continue onto the next...
