What is the Harpie Trail?
Harpie Trail marks VEJA's entry into trail running within its Performance line. It is a neutral-stride model with the brand's own TerraGrip sole and a midsole incorporating Amazonian rubber and bio-based EVA.
The Centre Commercial Outdoor version keeps the model's construction and introduces its own colour combination. Almond / Eagle uses earth tones, contrasted with purple laces and pink reflective details that nod to retro outdoor graphics.
Materials: components and proportions
VEJA lists the composition of each component. Bio-based or recycled materials make up part of each element, rather than the whole.
- Upper: AeroShell, with TPU panels. Recycled-polyester lining and laces.
- Midsole: 20% Amazonian rubber, 20% bio-based EVA (16% from sugar cane) and 60% other materials.
- TerraGrip outsole: 27% Amazonian rubber, 27% mineral silica, 27% synthetic rubber, 4% recycled rubber and 15% other materials.
- Insole: 68% bio-based EVA (54% sugar cane), 16% recycled polyester and 16% other materials.
