VEJA presents Etna, its first sandal. This new model pays homage to the brand's Brazilian roots. Between city, nature, and adventure, Etna invites us to explore and travel.
Upper material : Suede
Lining : Suede
Insole : Bio-based EVA (59%, including 42% sugarcane), recycled EVA (14%) and others (27%)
Outsole : Amazon rubber (40%), mineral silica (23%), recycled rubber (10%) and synthetic rubber (11%)
Made in Brazil
Suede is the reverse side of leather, sanded to give it a soft, supple look. It's sourced from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and tanned in Brazil without the use of hazardous or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses regulatory-compliant dyes and minimal water during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to protect the shoes from light rain.
It is recommended to avoid using a washing machine as it could alter the properties of the different materials.
- Waterproof your shoes with a product suitable for the material. Repeat this process every 3 to 6 months.
- Maintain nubuck/suede leather by brushing and dry cleaning. Finish by applying a suitable moisturizing and regenerating product.
- To prevent discoloration, let your shoes dry outdoors, away from heat sources (such as the sun or radiators).
