Machine wash at 40°C with similar colors and full load to avoid fiber shedding.
Avoid fabric softeners to maintain absorbency

Sunscreen and chlorine can cause discoloration.
Sharp or pointed objects can snag the loops of the terry cloth and cause loose threads. Cut loose threads immediately, as they won't damage the rest of the garment due to the fabric's construction. Never pull on them.
