!Solid Size Guide: T-Shirts, Shirts & Pants

!Solid manufactures mainly t-shirts, shirts and pants in relaxed and slim fits. Here we help you find your perfect size. Remember that the BCI cotton they use may shrink slightly after the first wash, especially with dark clothing.

Fit Types at !Solid

Relaxed Fit: Loose, comfortable cut for everyday wear. Ideal if you prefer movement and don't like clothes to cling to your body. Relaxed t-shirts fall loose from the shoulders.

Slim Fit: Tailored cut that follows body shapes without being tight. Perfect for a modern look. Slim pants typically have a straight or slightly tapered leg.

How to Measure Your Size

For t-shirts and shirts, measure:

• Chest width: Measure horizontally across your chest (under the armpit), without pulling tight. This is the most important measurement.
• Sleeve length: From shoulder to wrist (with arm relaxed). Important for long-sleeve shirts.
• Total length: From neck to waist (front). Important if you're very tall or very short.

For pants, measure:

• Waist: Measure your natural waist (where pants normally sit), without pulling tight.
• Inseam: From crotch to inner ankle bone. Sit down for accurate measurement.

Shrinkage & Care Tips

!Solid uses 100% BCI cotton (Better Cotton Initiative) in their basic t-shirts. This cotton is high-quality but may shrink 3–5% after the first wash:

• Wash in cold or warm water (max 30°C).
• Avoid dryer; hang to air dry.
• If you wash in hot water, expect additional shrinkage.
• For pants, shrinkage is less (1–2%) because they contain elastane (5%).

Relaxed or Slim? Fit Tips

Choose Relaxed Fit if:

• You prefer maximum comfort and freedom of movement.
• You don't like clothes clinging to your body.
• Your chest measurement falls between two sizes.
• You're taller than average (relaxed fit is generous).

Choose Slim Fit if:

• You want a modern, defined look.
• You prefer clothes that follow your shape without being tight.
• Your chest measurement clearly fits one size.
• You plan to tuck the garment in.
