ChromeFree bovine leather is smooth and lightweight. Sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), the leather undergoes an innovative tanning process without chromium, heavy metals, or hazardous acids. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals is limited and energy and water consumption are reduced by approximately 40% and salt consumption by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.
