How Genuins sandals and clogs fit
Genuins footwear is built around an anatomical cork footbed. It feels roomier than many conventional shoes and supports the natural shape of the foot. Sizing is unisex: an EU 40 footbed has the same length whether the style is listed for women, men or as unisex.
Do not rely only on the size you wear in another brand. Measure both feet and match the longer one to the centimetre column below. These measurements come from Genuins' official charts; the sizes produced and stocked vary by style.
How to measure your feet
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall.
- Stand on it with your heel touching the wall.
- Mark the point reached by your longest toe.
- Measure wall to mark and add 3–5 mm.
Measure both feet near the end of the day and use the longer measurement. Your heel and toes should sit inside the raised outline of an anatomical sandal, not on its edge.

Do Genuins sandals run big or small?
The anatomical fit feels roomier than a conventional shoe. Genuins recommends your usual size; if your measured length falls between sizes, choose the smaller one and retain 3–5 mm of toe room.
Are Genuins sizes unisex?
Yes. A given EU size has the same footbed length across women's, men's and unisex styles.
What should I choose if I normally wear a half size?
Measure your foot and use the centimetre column. Genuins' official advice is to size down when you fall between two sizes, provided your toes remain inside the footbed.
