Find out which Rains size fits you best with this size guide . Rains works with unisex patterns and a slightly loose fit designed for layering. The measurements in the table correspond to the garment (not the body) and are expressed in centimeters (cm) .
Keep in mind that Rains garments tend to run large , as they are designed to allow room underneath for additional layers . If you prefer a tighter fit, we recommend choosing a smaller size. You can check the exact measurements in our table below.

How to choose your size at Rains
- Unisex and relaxed fit: If you're between sizes or plan to wear hoodies /liners underneath, choose the larger size. For a more fitted look, go down one size.
- Key reference (chest): Compare the chest width in the chart to a jacket that fits you well, measured flat, from armpit to armpit.
- Sleeve length: ideal if you're looking for extra protection in the rain or if you have long arms.
How to measure your garment (flat)
- Chest width: Measure from armpit to armpit.
- Bottom width: Measure from end to end at the bottom of the garment.
- Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
- Shoulder to shoulder: measure the distance between the top seams of each shoulder.
- Total length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the garment.
