The Classic sweatshirts are Blue Banana’s most recognisable piece: 100% organic cotton, a regular fit and the brand’s X embroidered on the front, at the chest, and on the back. They come with a crew neck, the Crew Classic, or with a hood, the Hoodie Classic.

An X brought back from Amsterdam
Blue Banana was born in Madrid in 2016, founded by Juan Fernández-Estrada and Nacho Rivera. Its symbol comes from an Interrail trip: in Amsterdam they got a tattoo of the X from the city’s coat of arms and turned it into the brand’s logo. It is the same X embroidered on the Classic sweatshirts.
Around that symbol, Blue Banana makes travel- and outdoor-inspired clothing for every day: sweatshirts, T-shirts with graphics on the chest and back, caps, socks and small accessories. The sweatshirts and T-shirts covered here are made of organic cotton.

How to choose a colour

Neutrals
Navy, Anthracite, Off-White, Light Grey Melange or Grey, Khaki and Tapioca. They go with everything and get worn the most: with jeans, chinos or joggers.

Light shades
Acqua, Sky Blue on the Crew and Ice Blue on the Hoodie, Lilac, Light Lilac, Mint, Peach and Light Yellow. Soft tones that work with white, beige or light denim.

Deep shades

How to choose your size
The Crew Classic and the Hoodie Classic have a regular fit and are unisex, in sizes XS to XXL. As a guide, in the brand’s photos the female model is 1.73 m tall and wears an S, and the male model, between 1.82 and 1.93 m, wears an XL. If you like it loose, go one size up; to wear under a jacket, take your usual size.
The T-shirts come in different cuts: Classic, Java and Barrel are regular fit, Flower and Nature are oversized and Heart Pocket has a boxy cut, shorter and wider. The Classic tees can shrink up to 4 cm after the first wash, so wash them inside out at 30º and skip the tumble dryer.
