From the 7.2-litre Puffed Micro to the 30-litre Deepwater: which one suits what you carry.
Rains was founded in 2012 and is based in Aarhus, Denmark. Almost all its backpacks share the brand's PU fabric, with clean lines and few details; the Deepwater uses a TPU-coated material with welded construction. These are the ones we carry at ECRU, ordered by capacity.
In short
Carrying a laptop? The Backpack (13 litres) has a flat pocket for a 15" laptop in a sleeve. For 16", go for the Rolltop Rucksack, the 2 Way Tote or the Deepwater Day.
Something smaller? Backpack Mini (9 litres, 13" laptop with sleeve or 15" without), Rolltop Mini (10 litres) or MSN Bag Mini (13 litres). For the bare minimum, the 7.2-litre Puffed Micro, which still takes an 11" laptop.

Carrying a laptop?
Up to 16": Rolltop Rucksack, 2 Way Tote and Deepwater Day. Backpack, 15" with sleeve; Backpack Mini, 13" with sleeve or 15" without; Puffed Micro, 11".

Cycling?
Rolltop Rucksack: the opening rolls down and closes with a carabiner, and it has a chest strap and a D-ring for the bike lock. The Rolltop Mini has the same closure in 10 litres.

Need quick access?
The Backpack and Backpack Mini open through the flap with magnetic snaps and have a zipped back pocket. The 2 Way Tote can also be carried by hand.

Weekend?
Deepwater Day Large: 30 litres, welded construction with TPU coating and a coated zip closure.

What W3 means
W3 is the waterproof level stated on the product sheets of the Backpack, Backpack Mini, Puffed Micro, MSN Bag Mini, Rolltop, Rolltop Mini and 2 Way Tote: waterproof protection against light rain, with an 8,000 mm water column. The MSN Bag Mini sheet adds that it is designed for good to moderate weather. The Deepwater Day has welded construction and a TPU coating.
As for care, the sheets for the Rolltop Rucksack, Rolltop Mini and 2 Way Tote say do not wash, do not dry clean, do not tumble dry or bleach, and do not iron.
