Our second edition of System Collections addresses these and other issues, while showcasing the season's looks, now that the hype surrounding each fashion month has subsided.
The 88-page portfolio brings together photographer Willy Vanderperre and stylist Olivier Rizzo with their longtime friend and muse, Julia Nobis. The resulting images, mostly in black and white, are striking and modern, taking the looks off the runway and placing them under the harshness of studio lighting, returning the focus to the essence of fashion's creative production: the clothes themselves.
Meanwhile, the conversations in this issue offer context and perspective, both on a large and small scale, on a season marked by novelty and anticipation. In the days following Paris Fashion Week, we recorded conversations with 16 of the industry's leading critics, commentators, creatives, and runway stars to gain their insights and perspectives.
