Atticus Acne Paper

When Acne Paper was relaunched last year, it arrived as a book/magazine hybrid, reimagined in a new format and a bold design direction: the 500-page expansion. The new issue of Acne Paper has taken the hybrid idea one step further.

Part biography, part novel, part cultural arts magazine, part fashion magazine, this experimental and interdisciplinary issue is imagined around the story of Atticus: a fictional art world personality who will celebrate his 100th birthday during the launch of Acne Paper in Milan next November.

The centerpiece of the publication is the memoirs written by Atticus. In its five chapters, Atticus tells us about his cultured life, in which he began as a dancer, first with Balanchine and then with Merce Cunningham, before becoming a personality in the art world. In his vivid reflections, illuminating select moments in his life, we meet a dazzling gallery of art world giants, dancers, musicians, writers, designers, architects, and people Atticus has admired, met, and networked with. friendship.
