EL TÍPICO DE TENERIFE Normal Fit Salitre & Lava T-shirt
Salitre & Lava connects the two elements that define the islands' landscape: the volcanic origin of the land and the ocean surrounding it. Created in late 2015, the design became one of El Típico de Tenerife's recognisable motifs.
In the illustration, a wave frames Mount Teide on the horizon, a nod to The Great Wave off Kanagawa. The image is drawn in negative for screen printing onto a dark surface. On the front, custom lettering brings the words Salitre & Lava together as a logo.
This Normal Fit T-shirt is made from heavyweight 100% organic cotton. Each piece is artisanally screen printed by hand in Tenerife.
