It was designed at a time when bold colors and synthetic fibers were first being used for sportswear and is a staple of the Britpop era. Since then, he hasn't lost his cheeky appeal. A replica of the original, our Taped Track Jacket is made from the same cotton/poly tricot with signature branding details. The white coil zipper and sporty laurel wreath tape are original details from the '70s, because in the days of belt-tightening, the logo had to be generic for all colors. Now, it is a detail that we love. Authentic Fred Perry style.
