The 1996 Retro Nuptse Packable Jacket has a loose, geometric silhouette, made from the original's shiny ripstop fabric and features the iconic quilted oversized section and packable hood to keep you warm and dry in cold, wet weather.

WASH WITH SPECIAL CARE
Down-filled garments are delicate and require special care to maintain their maximum performance. Use ONLY a front-loading washing machine, wash in warm water with a liquid detergent specifically for down garments (which does not contain bleach) and use a delicate wash programme with a gentle spin cycle. To ensure that no soap residue remains, it is a good idea to repeat the rinse cycle. An additional spin cycle will also help to remove excess water. Pick up the garment from the bottom and do not pull on it to remove it from the washing machine.

FASTEN ALL CLOSURES
Before washing, turn garment inside out and fasten all zippers and Velcro® closures to prevent accidental damage.

Professional cleaning
If your down-filled item won't fit in the washing machine or dryer, it's best to take it to a down-filled cleaning service, which will save you time and energy.

Use a tumble dryer on a low temperature setting
Tumble dry on a low, slow cycle. It's also important to wash and dry each item separately. It's a good idea to put tennis balls in the dryer with the item to help disperse the feathers and keep them from clumping together.

Do not hang to dry
If you don't have a dryer, you can leave the garment to dry on a warm radiator. Move the garment from time to time so that the feathers don't become matted.
