Blue Banana T-shirts are made of 100% organic cotton and move between two ideas: the Classic, with the brand’s X embroidered front and back, and the seasonal graphic tees, with prints on the chest and back. At ECRU we carry both, and the autumn-winter 2026/27 collection is in all three of our stores.

Which one? The Classic is the basic: X embroidered on the chest and back and a regular fit. The FW26/27 tees have front and back prints, some of them raised, and come in a regular or oversized fit depending on the style.

An X brought back from Amsterdam
Blue Banana was founded in 2016 by Juan Fernández-Estrada and Nacho Rivera. The X comes from an Interrail trip: in Amsterdam they got a tattoo of the city’s coat of arms, which bears three X’s, and that X became the brand’s symbol. It is the one embroidered on the Classic and the Nederland, and the one that recurs in many of the graphics.
The same X is embroidered on the Classic sweatshirts, which we cover in our guide to the Crew and Hoodie Classic sweatshirts. Here we focus on the T-shirts: the Classic tees that stay from one season to the next and the autumn-winter 2026/27 collection, in organic cotton at 200 g/m² for short sleeves and 240 g/m² for long sleeves.

Regular fit
The Classic, the Nederland, the Logo, the Iconic and most graphic tees: Nature, Amsterdam, Circle, Dice, Forest, Bonfire, Reef and Puffy. The usual cut, neither tight nor loose.

Oversized
Core, Oval, Boost and Flower Navy. Wider in the body and shoulders, with a large graphic on the back. In your usual size they already fall loose.

Long sleeve
Mountain, Flower Black, Stripes and Iconic, all regular fit and in 240 g/m² organic cotton, slightly heavier than the short-sleeved ones. For autumn or under an overshirt.

How to choose your size and wash them
They are unisex and the seasonal collection runs from XS to XL. In the regular-fit styles, take your usual size; in the oversized ones, your size already gives a loose drape, and one size down keeps it closer to the body. As a guide, in the Classic photos the female model is 1.73 m tall and wears an S, and the male model is 1.78 m and wears an L.
The Classic product page warns that the cotton can shrink up to 4 cm after the first wash. Machine wash at 30º maximum and inside out, no bleach, iron at medium temperature and no tumble dryer. If you are between two sizes and want it loose after washing, the larger one is the better bet.
