Rains rain boots for the city: low, ankle-height and made of natural rubber.
Rains was founded in 2012 in Aarhus, Denmark, with the idea of reinventing the raincoat. The Dry Boot brings that idea to your feet: a simple rain boot with clean lines, in a women's (W) and a men's (M) version.
In short
The Dry Boot is an ankle rain boot in waterproof natural rubber with a matte finish, a neoprene instep and a slip-resistant grid sole.
The W version is for women, in sizes 36 to 41; the M, for men, in sizes 40 to 46. Rains says they run large and recommends going one size down.
01 · What it is
A low rain boot for the city
The Dry Boot is a waterproof boot designed for everyday city wear. The shaft reaches the ankle, so in height it is closer to an ankle rain boot than a tall wellington.
It has a clean shape, a cushioned sole and defined lines. There is no adjustable closure: you simply pull it on. It is the same boot in two versions, W with a women's fit and M with a men's fit.

04 · Sizing
Women's and men's rain boots: how they fit
The Dry Boot W, for women, comes in sizes 36 to 41; The Dry Boot M, for men, in sizes 40 to 46. Both have a regular fit, an anatomical shape and no adjustable closure.
Rains states on its website that this model runs large and recommends choosing one size below your usual. If in doubt, measure your foot from heel to toe and compare it with the brand's size chart.
05 · What to wear it with
With the rain jacket and the backpack
The Dry Boot rounds off the rest of what Rains makes for the rain. To choose a jacket, see our Rains rain jacket guide, and for the backpack, the Rains backpack guide.
06 · Care
Clean, dry and store upright
Rains recommends removing dirt after every use with water, a mild soap and a brush, and drying the boots with a microfibre cloth before putting them away.
Store them upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators, and without folding them. Over time, natural rubber may change slightly in tone or texture.
