Size guide for Polo Ralph Lauren menswear and accessories. Compare your body measurements with the centimetre charts. Measurements are approximate; garment cut and dimensions may vary.
Body measurements, not garment measurements: do not compare the width of a T-shirt laid flat with the chest circumference in this chart. Product measurements refer to the specified model and size.
How to take your measurements
Measure around the fullest part of your chest with relaxed arms, around your waist at navel level, and around your neck leaving room for one finger. For sleeve length, bend your arm and measure from the centre back of your neck, over the shoulder, to your wrist.
Polos, T-shirts, sweatshirts, jumpers and casual shirts
Standard men’s size reference. It does not replace specific suit, tailored jacket or Big & Tall charts.
Classic Fit, Custom Slim Fit and Slim Fit
For polos, Classic Fit is roomier, Custom Slim Fit is intermediate and Slim Fit is more fitted. They share a body-size reference but differ in garment pattern. Check the fit on each product page, particularly for Big Fit or wide-leg styles.
Trousers, shorts and swimwear with letter sizes
Trousers with numeric waist sizes
Inseam length is independent of waist size: L30 = 76,2 cm; L32 = 81,3 cm; L34 = 86,4 cm; L36 = 91,4 cm. Check which lengths the item offers.
Shirts with neck sizes
For shirts with numeric sizes, see the official shirt chart. Do not directly convert a neck size into a trouser size.
Caps, hats and other accessories
Check whether the model is sold in adjustable one size or specific sizes. One size does not guarantee a fit for every head circumference. The iconic cotton chino cap with official reference 658171 lists a 59 cm inner circumference and an adjustable strap. This measurement applies to that model, not to every cap.
For hats and accessories without a confirmed official conversion, check the product measurements or ask ECRU with the model reference. There is no universal S/M or L/XL conversion to centimetres for all accessories.
