The Quest Jacket returns for another season, and for good reason: it's still an affordable layer you can rely on to keep you protected from the rain and wind out there. This waterproof shell is made from lightweight, two-layer DryVent™ fabric with taped seams and a water-repellent finish. All of this adds up to complete protection from wind and rain, keeping you dry but not overly hot or sweaty. It's ideal for trekking in changeable weather conditions. It features a fixed, adjustable hood, elastic cuffs, a drawcord hem for complete insulation, and two zippered hand pockets. The chin guard is made from a soft, brushed fabric, also designed to prevent the zipper from rubbing or getting in your way.

DryVent™ two- and three-layer heat-sealed fabrics are designed to be waterproof, windproof, and breathable.

FASTEN ALL FASTENERS
Before washing, turn the garment inside out and fasten all zippers and Velcro® closures to prevent accidental damage.

Restore the garment's water-repellent treatment
To extend the life of your waterproof garments, you'll need to re-treat them to restore their waterproof finish after a few washes. If you notice that water isn't beading up on the surface like it was when you purchased it, it may be time to restore the water-repellent finish. You can restore it with a spray or a washing product, carefully following the instructions.

Machine washable
Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C and with similar colors. To keep your equipment performing at its best, wash it only when necessary to remove impurities such as dirt and odors from cooking and campfire smoke.

Colder temperatures
Build your layering system with a moisture-wicking base layer and a fleece or synthetic midlayer that insulates based on your activity level. In very cold temperatures, also add a down jacket.

Add a moisture-wicking inner base layer and a lightweight fleece or midlayer for added thermal insulation.
